Garlicky Castelvetrano Olives with Cream Cheese Spread

1. Set a wide pan over low heat and add the olive oil, olives and all the garlic and crushed spices. 
2. Let the cloves slowly toast until they turn golden and soft. Stir now and then so they color evenly.
3. Season with a good pinch of salt and lightly crush the garlic with a spoon so it turns jammy but still holds little pieces.
4. Spread the cream cheese on a platter or in a shallow bowl.
5. Spoon the warm garlicky olives and spiced oil over the top so it pools around the edges.
6. Serve with warm bread, crackers, or crisp vegetables.
